The 6th Asia Song Festival

The 6th Asia Song Festival has finally landed and added to itself a star studded class of all of Asia’s top icon singers. The festival itself, which consists of 14 teams from nine Asian countries, has been confirmed to set stage at 6 p.m. on Sept. 19 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in northern Seoul.


So what acts will join the linup?

Legendary names like, Japanese group V6, Gackt, Show Luo, and K-Otic are just some to name a few. Hong Kong actress/singer Ekin Cheng, Girl’s Generation, 2NE1, Big Bang, Super Junior, Mihimaru GT, Chris Lee, Ho Ngoc Ha and Agnes Monica will also be joining them on stage.
A represntative from the promoting agency said,

“This event will develop as a representative brand for the cooperation and cultural exchange of Asian countries, and become the stepping stone to heighten the competitiveness of Asian music in the global music market.”

It’s also being sited that the foundation will be giving the group, 2NE1, this year’s “Asian Newcomer’s Award.” Tickets for the festival are fee and those who wanted to attend visit www.asf.or.kr to download free tickets!

OMG 2ne1 and bigbang but no wonder girls. Wonder Girls were at woodbend (texas) like 2 days ago appearing at jonas brothers concert. i Just dont like jonas and forgot to buy the tickets. *sigh* anyway nice post.

Thanks for the pics, booya ^_^ I'm glad it was a success, now let's hope that some video comes out. I'm curious to see which songs they performed (or did they perform only Unlock? Confused I don't think so...).

I found a fan-vid of Hiroko speaking in Korean (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nf8k9WNOOoA), but that's all I've been able to find. I wasn't able to watch the performance live, and now I'm really upset Pissed *sigh* I heard it was supposed to be broadcasted in the US. I don't know if it was supposed to air live, or if they're going to show it some time in the future. I want to see it!

Even though the sound is pretty bad, I loved hearing the fans scream so much! Boogie Boogie I wish I could have been there to scream along with them!
