We all know mihimaru GT is much less popular especially in the western J-Pop community compared to other bigger names such as Ayu, Ai Otsuka, Koda Kumi etc. So, what exactly brings you into their world of J-Hip-Pop?

For me, I first saw them in a-nation'04 Channel-A special, a file I found while searching for Ai Otsuka's stuff. I didn't pay much attention to their music back then since my obsession is with Ai Otsuka. Tongue The first time I actually listen to their music is when their "mihimagic" reach the no.1 spot on iTunes Japan chart. I was fascinated by the fact that someone I have never heard of manage to climb to the top of the chart, so I gave them a try. I'm really glad I did, they're one of my favourite J-Pop groups now! Love

Honestly, I found most if not all of mihimaru GT's music fit my taste perfectly. I pretty much enjoy all of their songs in their albums, it's truly amazing IMO. Boogie

I used to go to this website (songjapan.com) that used to have streaming JPop songs. It was quite up-to-date, I'm sorry to see the streaming songs go (it violated Japan's law, I think). Anyway, I heard "Negai" and "Kaerouka" there, so it was probably 2004. I was hooked with those two songs. I tried my best to find their stuff, but it was impossible. Frown

I didn't go on forums at that time so it was hard finding J-Pop info and media. I started being able to keep track with mihimaru GT around the time "Yurume no Lady" and "Love is..." came out (forgot which it was). Then I could get a hold of their older stuff, so I was exposed to more of their music. And I just loved them more than ever. Boogie

I was so happy when they gained their well-deserved popularity with Kibun Jojo. Love

I played Ouendan 2 on the Nintendo DS and I heard Kibun Joujou. That was my favourite song. I looked up who the artist was and listened to their other songs. I fell in love with them after that.

I was collecting WaT's TV performances during the end of last year and on one of those shows, mihimaru GT performed Kibun Jojo right after WaT. I got hooked to the Kibun Jojo's rhythm and hiroko's liveliness during her performance and I wanted more!! XD

I think hiroko has more charisma than miyake. He's usually more shy while hiroko is very lively and funny.

I first saw their video for "Punkish" on IMF one day, thought Hiroko was just adorable, and started looking up everything I could on them. I downloaded about four of their videos ("Punkish" included, of course), keep going back to their Wiki page (even though I really do hate that site overall), and keep searching to find their albums at prices I can actaully afford Tongue
